Waldensian Preachers

The Waldensian preachers were humble followers of Jesus who lived in the mountains of Europe during the Middle Ages. They loved the Bible and copied it by hand so they could share God’s Word with others, even when it was dangerous. Disguised as merchants or travelers, they carried small portions of Scripture to people who had never heard it before. Their courage and faith helped keep the light of truth shining in very dark times.
